Details getting ironed out on Urbanna interim administrators

Urbanna has been without a town administrator or a zoning administrator since Jan. 1. The town administrator resigned and the zoning administrator retired.

The Urbanna Town Council met in closed session on Feb. 1 to interview two applicants for the town positions. Following the closed meetings, both individuals were offered a job, said Urbanna Mayor Barbara Hartley. One individual was offered the position as “interim” town manager and the other was offered the job of “interim” zoning administrator, said Hartley.
