No COVID-19 delays expected for ’21 baseball, softball seasons

by Tom Chillemi –

The Middlesex County Little League Board has announced it will start the baseball and softball seasons “on time” this year on April 16.

In 2020, COVID-19 caused the league to postpone the season to the fall and to cancel some levels of play.

Player registration for all levels including T-ball, machine pitch, and junior or senior leagues will be conducted at the Middlesex Sports Complex at Locust Hill concession stand at:

  • 9 a.m.-noon Saturday, Feb. 20 and 27.
  • 5-7 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 24 and March 3.

The fee is $70 for the first child and $40 for each additional child.
