A poem from her first daughter-in-law Robin:
For Nana
A widow left with four kids
But she somehow found a way
Studied to become a nurse
To provide a better day
Met E.B., her forever love
The family of eight moved in
And with this blended family
Her new life did begin
RV-ing to Lake Gaston
Water fun and more
But left there for Deltaville
And the daughter she adored
She suffered so much loss
Two of her sons were gone
And we did not realize
She would go along
So we salute the strength she had
And remember each what they will
But all of our hearts have holes in them
That only she could fill
