Maddie, the kitten, is reflecting on the year that was 2020 and saying “good riddance.” She is, like all of us, looking forward to a better 2021. Maddie’s wish is for a forever home in 2021 and all of her furry friends wish for a Happy and Healthy New Year for all of Middlesex Pet Friends for Life (MPFL) supporters. We know 2021 won’t be “purrfect,” but it just has to be better.

We welcome new volunteers and foster families to join us in 2021. We promise to pay you with immeasurable gratitude and a few puppy kisses and kitty purrs along the way.
In 2020 we had about 70 canine adoptions and 15 kitty adoptions.
Of course there are still precious pups and kitties still waiting to become family members and share the love and comfort in 2021. If you are interested in opening your hearts and homes to a new family member please consider our Middlesex homeless at the Middlesex Animal Shelter in Cooks Corner. Call Ruth at 804-695-7772 to arrange a visit if interested in a dog.…
