Zoar offers two outdoor Christmas Eve services

Deltaville’s Zoar Baptist Church owns a site on Stingray Point at the end of General Puller Highway (Route 33) where it conducts drive-in services every Sunday at 8:30 a.m., weather permitting.

On Christmas Eve, Thursday, Dec. 24, at 3 p.m., Zoar will offer an informal service for all families with children or the young at heart. Santa Claus will give a reading at Zoar’s Stingray Point location and there will be singing and lessons.

At 7 p.m. on Christmas Eve, Zoar will present the second outdoor service on the grounds of the church at 17097 General Puller Highway (Route 33) in the heart of Deltaville.

All are invited to drive up and park his or her car on the Deltaville Community Association building side of the church. This service will be broadcast on an FM channel for the convenience of those who want to stay in their cars and listen…
