With COVID-19 impacting the economic lives of so many families, the Howells wanted to impress upon their three girls the importance of getting involved in helping others.
“We have been very fortunate in that the pandemic has so far not impacted our family economically,” said Megan. “We wanted our children to realize that not everyone was so fortunate so we teamed up with the YMCA and worked to support their annual angel tree program.”
Starting in September and up to now, the girls made 300 angels and sold them for $5 apiece.
Madison, Ava and Charlotte all agreed that they had learned a great deal from the experience and perhaps the most important was the joy that came from giving back to others…
