An outdoor candlelight Christmas Eve celebration will be offered at 6 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 24 at Lower United Methodist Church in Hartfield at the Nativity display in front of the church.
Come and celebrate the birth of the Christ Child with carol singing, a brief message from the Rev. Ileana Rosario, the church’s pastor, and receive consecration of communion to be taken at home. Special effects lighting will occur during the service, recalling the presence of angels at the first Christmas.
This service will be presented regardless of the weather, and everyone is invited to remain after the main program for additional carol singing.
