While turkeys in general are to be forgiven for finding this time of year worrisome, this Locust Hill one can relax — he’s actually a pet, not a menu item! The owner prefers to remain incognito and to give no more specifics on the turkey’s location, so as to avoid his pet ending up on a hunter’s dinner plate. During a visit by a Sentinel reporter, the turkey pecked at his reflection in the metal siding of the trailer for several minutes, before displaying for the camera. (Photo by Tom Chillemi)
