The Urbanna Days Art Show on the “Town Green” had great weather for vendors and buyers who attended the show on Friday and Saturday, Nov. 6 and 7. The original Urbanna Days concept back in 1958 was designed to give local artists and craftsmen an opportunity to sell their wares and highlight their talents. Sixty-three years later the concept is still alive. The Urbanna Business Association-sponsored event also served as a way to capture some of the festivity folks associate with Urbanna in the first weekend in November — traditionally Oyster Festival time. The Town Green — the Virginia Street lot between the Urbanna Post Office and the Urbanna ABC liquor store —
is still scheduled to host socially distanced caroling and the lighting of Christmas trees at 5 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 5, barring any further tightening of COVID-19 restrictions. Main Light Up Urbanna offerings canceled (Photo by Larry Chowning)
