The Town of Urbanna has received three proposals from architectural and engineering firms that are interested in designing and engineering a major overhaul of Taber Park, it was announced at the Nov. 12 town council meeting.
Almost a year ago, the town council approved the “concept” and layout for the 2.5 acre park.
The amenities include two tennis courts, a pickleball court, a picnic pavilion, restrooms that would be open year around, and a new community swimming pool that would be built closer to Rappahannock Avenue. Also in the plan is a gazebo at the corner of Rappahannock Avenue and Bonner Street…
