Mary Ball Washington Chapter of the Freedoms Foundation at Valley Forge will host an oyster roast on Jan. 24, 2021, in order to fundraise for Spirit of America scholarships and to increase membership. This event is set for 2-5 p.m. The oyster roast will have a drive-through option for those wishing to pick up their bag of 26 roasted oysters instead of eating on the grounds or inside if weather is inclement.
The Oyster Roast will be offered at 838 Long Point Lane in Topping on the banks of the Rappahannock River. The cost is $40 per person and will be by pre-paid reservation only.
