On a beautiful fall day, the women of the Piankatank River Ladies Golf Association and men from various groups that play at the Piankatank River Golf Course conducted their annual Memorial Tournament. This outing seeks to honor and remember golfing friends who are at rest in the final clubhouse.
The format was Preferred Drive-One Best Ball Net with 11 mixed teams.
Winners include:
- First place — Kelly Lowe, Dave Brown, Marny Richardson, Ray Lowe.
- Second place — Ed McNamee, Tom Dorman, Nina Carter, Vicki Carr.
- Third place — Mike McLemore, Dan Stuck, June Klink, Chong Hudgins.
- Fourth place — Vicky Gunn, Donna Lange, Gary Richardson, Jim Goforth.
Tournament organizers expressed thanks to PRGC and to all who participated.
