by Capt. Percy Blackburn –
Another year has passed, one that none of us have experienced before, and it’s the fall rockfish season once again. The rockfish know nothing about the COVID-19 virus, and the fall rockfish season started on Oct. 4, but the real action doesn’t start for another 30-45 days, although there have been a number of years when we have had lots of nice fish the first week of November. Prime time is mid-November to mid-December.
I’ll be taking rockfish charters out of Urbanna again this year. If you have a group of friends that would like to fish, or if you want to show your appreciation to customers, clients or employees, there is no better way to spend the day.
I will be running the Mary Rose again this year. She’s a 29-foot custom built cruiser designed for fishing and has plenty of room for one to four people…
Let me know if you are interested. If you know of someone who may have an interest, please forward this information to them. I’m looking forward to fishing with you again.
