It’s Labor Day Weekend, time for our annual bonus “Groovin’ in the Park” on the waterfront stage on the grounds of Deltaville Maritime Museum. The main bonus concert is set for 6-8 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 5, and features the annual visit by the Josh Walker Trio. The trio becomes a quartet with saucy songstress Sharon Rae North bringing smooth as silk renditions of our favorite old standards and popular jazz tunes, including “Fly me to the Moon,” “My Way,” and all our faves. The Toby Gillie Duo will open from 5-6 p.m. This is a bring-your-own-lawn chair and cooler concert.
Gates will open at 4 p.m.
Following the phase three restrictions, and, to limit cash handling, the event will be an all-ticket or online purchase entry and purchase system. You must have a ticket and a mask to enter. Separate food, drink, and concert tickets, if still available, will also be sold at the event with the cashiers under the blue canopy.
All “Groovin’ ” tickets will be honored at this event.
