Dozens of decorated, socially distanced golf carts will parade through Urbanna in celebration of the upcoming Labor Day weekend. The 4 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 6 parade is a follow-up to a successful inaugural July Fourth one and is expected to roll east on Virginia Street from the area near Darrell Sears’ golf cart shop off Grace Avenue and finish up at the Portside Grill, according to organizer Jill Gallier-Durand of Urbanna.
“No political flags, just happy times for all without controversy,” she said of the free event. Attendees should practice social distancing.
