Taylor Edward Deagle, 38, of Hardyville, passed away on Thursday, Aug. 6, 2020.
He is survived by his wife, Shauna Marie; son, Ted; stepsons, David Milby, Elliott Redmon and Thomas Redmon; step-granddaughter, Marlee Milby; his parents, Walter and Connie Deagle; his sister, Ellen Hall (Travis); his brother, Matthew Deagle; his uncle, Fred Taylor Jr. (Nancy); cousins, Allison Taylor, Eric Deagle (Angelina), and their children, Victoria and Zach; his in-laws, Tom and Ellen Blackstone; a host of nieces and nephews; his beloved dog, Bentley; and his good friend and neighbor, Albert Williams.
Taylor was predeceased by his grandparents, T.F. “Bug” and Olga Deagle, Fred and Robertine Taylor; and aunt and uncle, Jane and Warren Deagle.
He was a lifelong member of Middlesex County and had successful business, “T&T” Lawn Care.
He was a member of Philippi Christian Church in Deltaville. He was a devoted father and his greatest joy in his life was his son, Ted. They enjoyed playing baseball, going on camping trips and going to the beach. He was affectionately known as “Squirrel” by his many friends. He will be best remembered that he never knew a stranger and had an impish and contagious smile that made him unique to all he met.
A memorial service is planned for Saturday, Aug. 22, at Philippi Christian Church in Deltaville. Visitation will be from 10-11 a.m., with the service following at 11 a.m. Interment will follow the service at Philippi Memorial Gardens.
