Truth is hard to find these days. There is a sea of information constantly flowing from seemingly endless sources but, almost all of the information is met with challenges to its validity and truthfulness. Who can we trust? Where can we go for truth? It’s bad enough that we are dealing with a host of issues and problems in the world but now we are realizing that truth is hard to come by. If we can’t trust those we have relied on for truth, who can we trust and where can truth be found?
There is a difference between facts and truth. The news can report factual events. Science can share factual information on diseases and medicine. Factual plans and problems can be presented. But when we have facts, we don’t always have the truth.
The saying goes that there are three sides to any story: yours, mine and the truth. This is why there is so much conflict over facts. The interpretation of those facts, the best plan…
