The Library of Virginia has announced the nominees for the 17th annual People’s Choice Awards. These awards are given to the authors of one fiction book and one non-fiction book each year. All of the books nominated for the People’s Choice Awards are either written about Virginia, or are written by authors from, or currently residing in Virginia. Five fiction books and five non-fiction books were nominated and are voted on by people throughout the commonwealth. The Middlesex County Public Library system has almost all 10 nominated books, and invites readers to vote online on their favorites through Aug. 31.
Readers may vote online for their favorite at the Library of Virginia’s website through Aug. 31.
