Amberly Joy Blakley

Amberly Joy Blakley, 22, of Middlesex County, passed away Saturday, July 18, 2020 in Jamaica, Va.

Amberly was born in Richmond to Joni Hanks and Glen Blakley on Aug. 21, 1997.

She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Charles Orville Blakley; grandmother, Dorothy Joy Blakley; grandfather, John Larry Hanks; and great-grandmother, Katherine Hall.

Amberly graduated from Middlesex High School with an advanced diploma and honors and also enjoyed many activities with the school, such as sideline cheerleading for both basketball and football, competition cheerleading, TSA, Governors and so much more.

Amberly was such a free spirit, a giving person to everyone she met, and definitely an old school hippie born into the modern world. She brought so much life and happiness everywhere she went and could brighten anyone’s days with her personality and beautiful smile.

Amberly is survived by her mother, Joni Hanks and Van Trainham; father, Glen Blakley and wife Elizabeth; siblings, Tyler Trainham, Brooke Blakley (CJ Chandler), Charlee Blakley, and her niece, Kaylee Blankenship; along with many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

We love you to the moon and back Amberly.
