Janice Lee Beall Taylor, 81, of Urbanna, passed away on Sunday, July 19, 2020.
Born to parents Mary Anna and J. Leonard Beall in Rockville, Md., she was the oldest of five siblings.
She had lived in Middlesex County with her husband of 65 years, Lloyd C. Taylor, since 1996. She was always a strong supporter of Lloyd’s careers, including his time in the United States Navy.
Prior to her illness, she was active in several community organizations. Her love of genealogy led her to the Middlesex County Museum and Historical Society, where she worked on many projects. She also worked at the Second Time Around Thrift Store and was a member of the Middlesex County Volunteer Rescue Squad Auxiliary.
In addition to her husband Lloyd, she leaves behind a daughter, Laurel Joy DeCenzo and husband John; granddaughter, Noelle DeCenzo; four siblings, Kathleen King (Paul), Mary Beth Henkel (Buddy), Mark Beall (Janis), and Marilyn Beck.
No services are scheduled at this time. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Jan’s memory to the Middlesex County Volunteer Rescue Squad, P.O. Box 98, Deltaville, VA 23043. Faulkner Funeral Homes, Bristow-Faulkner Chapel, Saluda, is assisting the Taylor family.
