Jane Callis Deagle, 64, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, July 15, 2020.
A lifelong resident of Deltaville, she was born June, 6, 1956, to James Russell and Mary Elizabeth Callis.
She was a loving mother, grandmother and a true friend to all.
She joins her beloved husband, Phillip Warren Deagle; her sister, Charlotte Slaughter; mother and father; mother- and father-in-law; and all her loving family members who have passed before her.
She is survived by her only son, Eric and his wife, Angelina; her grandchildren, Victoria and Zacharias Deagle, and Damian Garriott; her beloved beagle, Russel; her brother- and sister-in-law, Walter and Connie Deagle; brother-in-law, Kelly Slaughter; her nieces and nephews, Becky and Joey Revere; her nieces and nephews’ daughters, Kelly and Halley, Preston and Kaye Slaughter and Ashley, Pamela and Dennis Brandenburg, Ellen and Travis Hall, Taylor and Shauna Deagle; her nieces and nephews’ sons, Ted and Mathew Deagle; and all family members and friends who had the privilege to have known her.
A memorial service will be conducted at Philippi Christian Church in Deltaville on Sunday, July 19. Visitation will begin at 3 p.m. The funeral will begin at 4 p.m., but due to COVID-19, the service has to be limited to participants for social distancing requirements, but the service will be broadcasted on the churches FM transmitter. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Middlesex County Volunteer Rescue Squad or the Gloucester Mathews Humane Society.
