St. Clare Walker Middle School’s (SCW) Bailey Hooper who teaches Algebra 1 and Math 8 has been named Middlesex County Public School’s (MCPS) 2020 Division Teacher of the Year.
Annually, MCPS officials select one Teacher of the Year from each of the county’s public schools — Middlesex Elementary School (MES), Middlesex High School (MHS) and SCW. Then a division winner is chosen from the three.
The honors recognize exemplary teaching service both in the classroom and within the school community and embody teacher leadership and instructional innovation, said the assistant school superintendent, Dr. Tracy Seitz.
