Offense was not in short supply for the Deltaville Deltas last weekend, as they twice put up double-digit runs to roll past the Tappahannock Tides and Richmond Mets by scores of 16-3 and 22-3.
The wins push Deltaville to 3-1 overall and 3-0 in league play, currently sitting a half game back of the Richmond Smokies in a tie for second place with Richmond Team Woody.
The Deltas return home this Saturday for a 7:30 p.m. game, which will bring the Mets for a return trip to Deltaville. On Sunday, the Deltas will hit the road for a game against Tappahannock.
