Urbanna Baptist Church resumes in-person worship

Congregants coming together to praise God at 11 a.m.; will follow physical distancing guidelines, use masks

Urbanna Baptist Church invites its members and folks in the community to join together for an in-person worship service at 121 Watling St. in Urbanna. After postponing its regular in-person services over the spring due to the coronavirus pandemic, they will now come together to praise God at 11 a.m. this Sunday, July 5 in the church’s main fellowship hall. Both parking lots and street parking are available. Dress is casual.

“Come! Let’s be together in the worship of God!” a church spokesman said.

A unique form of communion observance will be offered after the words of God are shared by the church’s pastor, the Rev. Bruce Powers…

For information, call the UBC office 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Monday-Thursday at 804-758-2720.

(The church is no longer offering its weekly drive-in services.)
