Trio from Middlesex County excels at Chesapeake Bay Gov. School

Authentic independent scientific research is one of the cornerstones of the student experience at the Chesapeake Bay Governor’s School. During this past unprecedented spring semester, Chesapeake Bay Governor’s School seniors, including three from Middlesex County, continued to be involved in various scientific research symposia and competitions. Every student at CBGS engages in a two-year long process of scientific research where students propose their own independent research question, design the study, collect and analyze data graphically and statistically and then write a formal manuscript of their work.

These students’ papers are still under review for special awards and scholarships based on this research which will be announced later this summer.
