Henry Pfeil Jr., 90, passed away peacefully at his home in Ocala, Fla., on Monday, June 8, 2020.
He was born May 6, 1930.
He graduated from Virginia Poly Tech and Oklahoma State University.
He was retired from the U.S. Army as a lieutenant colonel and had served in the Korean and Vietnam wars.
He was predeceased by his father, Henry Pfeil Sr., born in Tivoli, N.Y.; and mother, Elizabeth Obermeyer, born in Hudson, N.Y.; wives, Clare Moody Pfeil and Janet Ritchie Pfeil; and sons, William Clinton Pfeil and Henry Pfeil III.
Survivors include his grandson, Henry Clinton Pfeil of North Augusta, S.C., plus several nieces, nephews and extended family members.
