With the help of so many of its neighbors and friends, Hands Across Middlesex has continued to provide distributions to all its existing clients and to serve an ever-increasing number of new clients. As more and more neighbors come to the Hands pantry events, it has expanded its resources and what it is able to provide. Most recently, it has even distributed basic household items that are in short supply, including toilet paper and cleansing wipes.
Hands Across Middlesex’s most important request to all who read this: If you or someone you know could benefit from Hands’ outreach, attend or encourage those you know to attend, to any one of its pantry events. Signing up only takes about a minute and no paperwork or documentation is required.
Hands Across Middlesex’s distribution schedule includes:
- Cryer Center — 10 a.m.-4 p.m. second and fourth Tuesday of the month.
- Union Shiloh Baptist Church in upper-Middlesex County (Jamaica/Laneview) — 9-11 a.m. first Tuesday of the month.
- Clarksbury United Methodist Church in lower Middlesex County (Hartfield/Deltaville) — 9-11 a.m. first Saturday of the month.
- Urbanna Baptist Church in central Middlesex County (Urbanna/Saluda) — 9-11 a.m. third Tuesday of the month (this is a new day and time).
