Christchurch School using distance learning methods to teach students remotely

When confronted with the reality that we would have to close our physical campus, Christchurch School made the decision to make a distinction between finishing this school year and planning for next year. For this year, we wanted to ensure that our students earn their credits, that our seniors graduate, and that senior college matriculations are on schedule. We did not believe it was possible to spin up a full online learning program in a matter of weeks. Instead we chose to focus on the core things that our students need, including academic instruction in core classes and social-emotional and college counseling support.  At the same time, we wanted to make our offerings, schedule, and procedures as simple as possible.
