Virginia Peninsula Public Service Authority (VPPSA) announced Monday that starting this week, brush and land-clearing items and construction materials would not be accepted and only “limited recycling” will be allowed at Middlesex County’s Jamaica, Saluda, Hartfield and Deltaville convenience centers.
Also, the Deltaville Convenience Center will be closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, effective April 14 “until further notice.” The Town of Urbanna has stopped recyclable pickup on Wednesdays. Urbanna’s normal trash pickup on Mondays and Fridays has not been impacted.
