The circa 1760s colonial Scottish Factor Store on Virginia Street in Urbanna houses the Urbanna Town Museum and Visitors Center. Owned by the Town of Urbanna, the old building and grounds have recently received a facelift.
Town council recently has expended about $18,000 to have the front porch reworked. “Much of the wood on the front porch was rotten and creating a dangerous condition,” said town administrator Holly Gailey.
