Events canceled amid new restrictions

With Gov. Ralph Northam’s recent shutdown on gatherings larger than 10 people now extended through June 10, the board of the Deltaville Maritime Museum and Holly Point Nature Park, in the interest of public health, has cancelled the scheduled Saturday, April 11, annual Easter egg hunt, the Friday, May 1, Shrimp and Barbecue Dinner/Dance, the Saturday, May 2, Holly Point Market and the opening day “Groovin’ in the Park” with “Elana Lisa and the Hot Mess.” The cancellations continue into May with the Memorial Day weekend market and “Groovin’ ” with Ray Pittman and Bobby Messano.
