Middlesex Pet Friends for Life participate in special ceremony

Middlesex Pet Friends for Life (MPFL) lost one of its most dedicated volunteers and supporters, Julia Temple Lee, on Dec. 29, 2017. She passed away after a five-year battle with a chronic, painful syndrome. Despite her illness, Lee continued her work with Pet Friends, showing unbelievable love for the animals and the folks working with the group’s furry friends. She was a true friend of the animals and volunteers. Lee was also an accomplished pastry chef and made the best treats for both humans and furry friends.

Her husband, David R. Lee, donated a memorial bench in her honor to the Middlesex Animal Shelter. On March 15, MPFL members presented a dedication of that bench and toasted Julia Temple with…
