Hermitage Baptist Church at Church View has welcomed Rev. Tag Kilgore as interim pastor.
Growing up in Eastern Kentucky, Rev. Kilgore gave his life to Christ at the age of 17 and answered the call to ministry shortly thereafter. He met his wife Joy Wade while attending Welch College in Nashville, Tennessee. Continuing his education, he earned two seminary masters degrees––master of religious education and master of divinity. In his four decades of ministry he has served as senior pastor and Christian school administrator, conducting a weekly community Bible study, and continuing to work with church leadership teams as the interim pastor.
