To fully support Governor Northam’s announcement to close all K-12 schools in the state, including all local governments on the Peninsula, and the national focus on flatting the curve of the spread of this virus, the YMCA of the Virginia Peninsulas will be suspending all operations at its centers from Monday, March 16, through Sunday, March 29.
“This decision was not made lightly, but we feel we have a social responsibility to help protect all of the members of our community,” said Adam Klutts, president and CEO.
