Middlesex High School (MHS) junior Dayton Liverman scored 36 points in the VHSL Class 2 Swimming & Diving Championships in Richmond on February 1 to single-handedly give the Chargers a tie for 18th place as a team in the state meet.
The Class 2 state championship meet was held on February 19 at the SwimRVA pools in Richmond. Liverman and sophomore Ashtyn Franklin were the two MHS swimmers
