Horace Bartlett Courtney, 89, of King and Queen Court House passed away Wednesday, February 5, 2020. He was a member of Harmony Grove Baptist Church, Topping. He was the founder of Courtney Flooring.
Horace was predeceased by his wife, Mary Jane Courtney; a daughter, Jeanette Rose Davis; and two sons, Horace Jackson Courtney and David Mark Courtney.
He is survived by three daughters, Elizabeth Jane Courtney, Julie Marie Courtney and Shirley Ann Gibson; 10 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held on February 9 at Harmony Grove Baptist Church, Topping, with interment in the church cemetery. Arrangements by Faulkner Funeral Homes, Bristow-Faulkner Chapel, Saluda.
