Reed paces JV Chargers

Middlesex forward Montrell Oakley (shooting) has been a standout for the JV Chargers.

The Middlesex High School (MHS) junior varsity basketball team earned two victories last week, defeating Carver 50-29 on January 17 and district foe King and Queen 57-36 on January 21.

The wins were sparked by the strong play of Geion Reed who scored 27 points against Carver and 25 points against the Royal Tigers.

The Chargers will play West Point at home on Friday, January 31.
