Urbanna town historian and life-long resident of Middlesex County, Mr. Larry S. Chowning, spoke to the ladies of the Middlesex County Womans Club in Urbanna on Monday, January 13, 2020, about “growing up in Urbanna.”
Larry is a writer/reporter at the Southside Sentinel newspaper in Urbanna and has authored nine books on the history of Urbanna and Middlesex County. Listen to a bit of history and hear a few wise tales as Larry takes us on a whimsical journey through the ages and the development of the town in which he grew up.
