The congregation was delighted this past Sunday with the performance of “Twas the Night Before Christmas” directed by Beverly Norris at Zoar Baptist Church in Deltaville. The program consisted of the youth, the Children’s Church, the preschoolers and the nursery. “We like to include all the children in the program so they will have memories of performing for the church,” said Norris. “They also learn about the importance of sharing the good news about Jesus with others.” The performance was about the real reason for the season, God sending His Son to save us and give us life. The performers were: readers, Allen Leonard, Kallie Robins and Cheyenne Sears; mouse, John Daniel Norris; Gabriel, Lillianna Coberly; angels, Claire Dise, Julia Dise, Ella Norris; shepherds, Hunter Foster, Blake Robins and CJ Sears; innkeeper, Bryson Bulgin; Mary, Mattie Norris; Joseph, Liam George; angel, Jolie Norris; shepherds, Evan George, Jackson Hooper, Luke Norris and Liam Simmons; and lamb, Blake Hooper.
