The Chargers battled Lancaster to a 25-25 halftime tie but could not hold off the Devils in the second half and lost 63-55 on November 5 at MHS in Saluda.
“We competed well with Lancaster,” said MHS coach Jon Hatch. “We put ourselves in position but had some fundamental breakdowns that hurt in the end.”
In a 89-52 loss to Peninsula Catholic at Hampton Roads Academy on Saturday the Chargers trailed 14-10 after the first quarter but were outscored 73-42 the rest of the way.
“Against Peninsula Catholic we didn’t come ready to play,” said Coach Hatch.
