Betty L. Marrin, 72, of Deltaville passed away on Thursday, November 21, 2019. She was born and raised on the south side of Richmond and was of the Baptist faith.
Betty was a member of the Middlesex Volunteer Rescue Squad Auxiliary in Deltaville, the thrift shop auxiliary, and the Knights of Columbus Ladies Auxiliary. She retired from the Virginia Department of Corrections as a sergeant and was a member of the officer’s union.
She is survived by her husband, Francis D. Marrin Sr.; daughters, Kathryn Marrin Cannon and Kimberly Jean Marrin-Fountain; son, Francis D. Marrin Jr.; a sister, Barbara Jean Wade; grandchildren, Jennifer, Crystal, Mary Lou, Ryan, Sierra, Josh, Cody, Noah, Hannah, Jacob, Alyssa, Carrie, Hudson, Samantha, Kallah, Reilly and Robyn; and great-grandchildren, Ainsley, Ethan, Sophia, Regan, Hailey, Ryan and C.J.
A graveside funeral service was held Sunday, November 24, at the Church of the Visitation Cemetery, Topping. Arrangements by Faulkner Funeral Homes, Bristow-Faulkner Chapel, Saluda.
