Tickets for the Jackson Creek Christmas Cruise are now on sale at J&W Seafood and Nauti Nell’s in Deltaville. This year the non-refundable tickets will be $10 per seat with a limit of 6 per family. All tickets must be purchased in person and paid for in cash or by check. Tickets cannot be reserved, but the ticket sellers will put tickets aside if you call to alert them you are on your way to buy them. This is only for a limited time and on the day you call.
Tickets are for the trolley ride, the cruise, and the Christmas party inside the Deltaville Community Association (DCA) building. The event will be held rain or shine on December 13 with no backup date. As always the cruise will take place unless dangerous weather is predicted.
There will be four cruises beginning at 5 p.m. and on the hour at 6 p.m., 7 p.m., and 8 p.m. Please arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled cruise time. Homemade cookies and apple cider will be served inside the DCA building and are free of charge to all ticket-holders. This year wine and beer will be sold at a cash bar.
There will be two trolleys to take visitors to the light show created by Stephen Blue and then to the town dock to board the “Lucky Lady.”
“A big thank you goes to Brandon and Gina Putney of Affordable Lawn Care and Drew and Bailey Hooper of Apex Arboriculture who will underwrite the cost of the second trolley,” said an event spokesperson. Middlesex County underwrites the cost of the first trolley.
There will be a cookie contest again this year with a $50 gift certificate from Nauti Nell’s and one from J&W Seafood for the best judged cookie and the people’s choice cookie.
There will also be a decorating contest recognizing the best decorated business and residence on the trolley route. A sign will be awarded to the two winners naming them as best decorated business and residence.
