Abingdon Episcopal Church on Route 17 in White Marsh, Gloucester County, will host cellist Julian Schwarz and pianist Marika Bournaki in the first concert this season in the Arts at Abingdon Series. The concert will be held Saturday, November 9, at 5 p.m. at the church. Admission is free but a free-will offering will be accepted.
The duo released its first recording in 2015 for the Milken Archive of American Jewish Music, and released the world premiere recording of Bright Sheng’s “Northern Lights” in summer 2017 on the Naxos label. The duo’s debut album was released in 2018.
