Last weekend’s Christchurch School Homecoming and Fall Family Weekend ended with a Celebration of the Arts on Sunday afternoon. Hosted by the school’s Visual and Performing Arts Department, “Autumn Leaves, Arts in Perspective” featured a gallery showing by Sarah McCormick’s art students, performances and solos by the school’s singing group, Cantorion, under the direction of Visual and Performing Arts Department Chair Mark Parsons, and the CCS Instrumental Ensemble, under the direction of Michael McNeill. Soloists included local students Claire Keesee of Irvington and Lawrence Porter of West Point. Above, Visual and Performing Arts Chair Mark Parsons directs Cantorion.
