The members of the Virginia State University Middle Peninsula Alumni Chapter will honor Rev. Robert D. Brown, pastor of New Mount Zion Baptist Church in Walkerton, and St. Paul Baptist Church in King William. He is a minister, Virginia State University graduate, teacher, mentor, musician, dedicated life member and a tremendous supporter of Virginia State University. This event will be held at the Van Den Bogaard Banquet Hall, 207 West Euclid Blvd., West Point, on Saturday, November 9, from 1-4 p.m. Tickets for this event are $30 for adults and $12 for children 12 and under.
Please come and join in showing our appreciation to a dedicated man who has shared his years of wisdom, knowledge and love to the young people in King and Queen and surrounding counties and to his alma mater, Virginia State University.
