“Roadside Market” by Virginia Coyle
The Bay School Community Art Center in Mathews will be holding an Artisan Market on Saturday, October 19, from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Participating artisan vendors will have booths set up.
Booths include pottery by Clay by the Bay, local photo art by Tammy Faukner and more. Greg Versen, the center’s featured Artist of the Month, will talk about his photography work. Versen is an award-winning photographer and has been an active photographer for more than 50 years.
“Gauge and Grain,” an exciting show featuring art made of wood and metal will be exhibited through October 22.
The gallery is full of fall-inspired wall art, pottery, photography, jewelry and three-dimensional work. For young visitors there will be a creative project making spooky ghosts and a new Gallery Eye Spy game.
The Artisan Market is held along with the Mathews Farmers Market.
“Fall into Art” will be the next exhibit running October 25 through December 3.
