More than 100 persons were in attendance at the Middlesex County Museum’s “Strong Men and Women” exhibition opening at Antioch Baptist Church in Saluda this past Sunday. The museum’s 2019 Preservation Award was presented to the Black Church Cultural Affairs Committee and a keynote speech was delivered by 2019 Strong Men and Women honoree Reverend Andrew Jackson White Sr.

When the program ended everyone present was pleasantly surprised to learn that GPS developer and 2019 Strong Men and Women honoree Dr. Gladys B. West was present.
