Members of the Virginia State University Middle Peninsula Alumni Chapter will honor Rev. Robert D. Brown, pastor of New Mount Zion Baptist Church, Walkerton, and St. Paul Baptist Church, King William. He is a minister, Virginia State University graduate, teacher, mentor, musician, dedicated life member and a tremendous supporter of Virginia State University.
This event will be held at the Van Den Boogaard Banquet Hall, 207 West Euclid Blvd. in West Point, on Saturday, November 9, from 1 to 4 p.m. Tickets are $30 for adults and $12 for children 12 and under.
Please come and join in showing appreciation to a dedicated man who has shared his years of wisdom, knowledge and love to the young people in King and Queen and surrounding counties and to his alma mater, Virginia State University.
