The Lancaster Players are pleased to present “Motherhood, the Musical” this November at the playhouse in White Stone. In this musical four women share their challenges, insights and pleasures of motherhood at a baby shower they are throwing for their friend. You will see the powerful friendship of Amy, a soon-to-be-mom; Brooke, a hard-working lawyer; Barb, a stressed out mother of five; and Tina, a single mom seeking to balance work, her family and her recent divorce.
The musical has 20 original songs, all written or co-written by Sue Fabisch, including the hilarious Billboard Top 10 comedy hit “The Kids Are Finally Asleep”; the call-to-shoppers, “Costco Queen”; and the tender ballad, “Danny’s Mom.”
Show times are 8 p.m. for November 1, 2, 8, 9, 14, 15 and 16, and 3 p.m. for the two matinees November 3 and 10. Tickets are available online at lancasterplayers.org or by calling 435-3776.
