Trinity Baptist Church, Center Cross, will host its annual homecoming and revival services beginning on Sunday, October 6, at noon. This will also be the 121st anniversary of the church.
There will be two services with dinner served. The morning message will be delivered by the church pastor, Reverend Dr. Griselda Amy Bayton. Immediately following the morning service, dinner will be served in the George C. Dandridge Fellowship Hall.
The afternoon service will begin at 3 p.m. The guest messenger for the afternoon will be Reverend Dr. John C. Wright Jr., pastor of Immanuel Baptist Church, Saluda, accompanied by his officers, ushers, choir and congregation.
During the week, revival services will be held nightly from Tuesday, October 8 through Thursday, October 10, with prayer and praise service beginning at 7:30 p.m. and the worship service at 8 p.m. Guest messengers for the week will be: Tuesday, October 8, Reverend Dr. Connie Gardner, associate pastor of Union Hope Baptist Church (Ino); Wednesday, October 9, Reverend Cornelius R. Holmes, pastor of First Baptist Church (Tappahannock); and Thursday, October 10, Apostle Dr. Russell B. Smith, pastor of Macedonia Baptist Church (Center Cross). On each evening the guest messenger will be accompanied by his or her officers, ushers, and choir.
